Welcome to our Kung Fu for Kids page!

We invite you to discover the wonderful world of Kung Fu — a traditional Chinese martial art that offers much more than physical skills.

It gives children tools for facing challenges, encourages self-discipline, seriousness, perseverance, imagination and creativity, mutual respect, and the ability to focus on goals. Hung Gar Kung Fu is a mechanism for self-improvement.

Why Kung Fu?

Kung Fu is a journey of personal growth, combining physical practice with deep values and messages. Hung Gar Kung Fu is a way of life that accompanies you on any path you choose. Through Kung Fu, children learn to master their bodies, develop self-confidence, and choose measured and responsible responses instead of frustration.

What do children learn?

Respect and patience

In class, children learn to respect the instructor and their classmates. They come to understand the importance of patience in the learning and training process.

Facing challenges

Kung Fu presents children with physical and mental challenges. They learn how to handle small setbacks and continue with determination and patience.

Focus and concentration

Through structured drills, forms (Katas), meditative practice, and breathing exercises, Kung Fu helps children develop internal focus and the ability to concentrate.

Physical and mental resilience

Kung Fu practice strengthens muscles, flexibility, and physical fitness, while also contributing to mental resilience and a strong sense of self-worth.

Weapons work

In advanced work, children develop 360° spatial awareness and control. Through practice with traditional weapons such as Bo staffs, swords, and more, children learn to control movement that extends beyond the boundaries of the body — work that encourages out-of-the-box thinking and mental flexibility.

Our method

We believe in an approach tailored to children — combining the traditional learning method through low stances, strengthening body and mind, along with games, humor, experiential drills, and teamwork. Classes are taught by experienced instructors who know how to guide children while encouraging perseverance, coping with difficulty, and inspiration.
